West Columbia, formerly Brookland, is a city and commuter town in the suburban eastern sections of Lexington County, South Carolina, United States. According to the 2010 census, the population was 14,988, and the 2019 population estimate was 17,998. West Columbia is bordered to the east by Columbia, the state capital, across the Congaree River. It is near Columbia's city center or downtown district as well as the South Carolina State House and the Congaree Vista, known locally as "the Vista." The city is bordered to the south by its sister suburb, Cayce. A small portion of the city borders the town of Lexington to the east.

They were fast to respond and you couldn't ask for a better experience. The crew they sent out was very informative and explained every thing that they needed to do with no surprises.
If you need a Well drilled Austin Drilling is the company to choose. I cannot say Thank you enough to Shay and the wonderful crew he has. Friday 7/31/2020 my Mothers well (put in in 1973) , which we were tapped into, broke , Both houses were without water. My aging Mother, Daughter and 3 grandchildren in 1 house and My husband and I with 3 children in another. Needless to say not a good situation to be in. I live in the Irmo area by Lake Murray Dam and knew the wells are harder to drill being that they have to drill through rock and generally are very expensive. I called around and every company I called, even with explaining my situation said they wee 6 to 8 weeks out. I was distraught. I knew the last time we replaced the pump in my Mothers well it was very hard to get back down so we assume it has caved in at some point. So replacing it was not option for water for the two houses any longer. I called Austin Drilling and explained the situation we were in to a sweet lady. She told me she would reach out to the Owner and he would call me back. Shay called back within 10 minutes and told me he could move some things around and fit me in the next week. What great news this was!! I could tell they really cared and empathized with our situation. Shay even went so far as to come out and survey where they would drill the next day, on a Saturday, yes, a day he should be able to rest but he knew we were in need. As promised my well was installed and ready to use Friday 8/7/2020. I was really impressed when a storm moved in and they continued to work on the well even in the rain, the only time they got in their truck was when the hail started. This experience was so much easier thanks to Shay and his crew and the price of the well was not inflated, very reasonable!! I highly recommend their service. We have the best water pressure we have ever had in both houses now. If you need a well drilled call Austin Drilling. You won’t be let down!
